The Overdue Book Club

Have you been looking for a book club, but haven't had any luck?

Want to read great books and talk about them with amazing people?

Do you want to get rewarded for reading?

Look no further. We want you! Join our bold and bookish squad, The Overdue Book Club. We read 2 books a month: fiction and non-fiction. Even if you choose just to read one of the books each month, there will be a place for you to dialogue about it. We meet virtually on the fourth Monday and Friday of every month.

Does your reading appetite go beyond reading 1 or 2 books at a time? Or are you interested in 1 book, but desire weekly conversations about what you’re reading?

Great! Side Quest Sundays is perfect for you. Join us on Sundays as we engage in weekly discussions about our monthly side quest, a different book on our TBR (to be read) list.

The Overdue Book Club is the official book club of Write For The Culture, a pen to page movement celebrating and centering black stories and storytellers, so this bookclub does the same. We focus on black books by black writers from across the diaspora. All are welcome.

How to sign up: Choose which book you'd like to join the discussion for by selecting it from our shop. This will sign you up for the book club (causing you to be on our mailing list for upcoming dates and books) and will put your name on the list for the goodies we have curated for each book.
